Ghost Monster

Ghost Monster - Simon Clark Not hugely grabbed, so far. Mind, I have been having a pretty unpleasant and annoying day, so possibly that's just a mood thing.

Not just a mood thing. Want to be clear; I love some of Simon Clark's stuff, and would not quibble with the blurbs he gets. Vampyrrhic, Blood Crazy, Death's Dominion; I like his work, it's creepy and clever and fun and occasionally surprisingly affecting.

Ghost Monster was pretty clearly written in his style, but it felt choppy and occasionally unfinished; characteristics and ideas got brought up once or twice, and then never showed up again. It feels like a lighter, less satisfying version of his usual work.
